School and work experience

 In 2011 I graduated from the art academy, after which I started teaching in secondary education. I quickly exchanged teaching for administrative and recruitment functions. In addition to my work, I studied Philosophy and completed a course in 'Color Therapy'. I also followed various workshops and courses such as Intuitive Painting, Business Drawing and Vedic art.


With my knowledge, skills and experience I started working as a freelance art teacher, where I provide lessons, workshops and courses for schools and companies. The creative workshops that I have developed myself I give a few times per quarter in the center of Rotterdam. Besides teaching, I make art and have several exhibitions each year.


Vision

In a rapidly changing world where we seem to understand each other less and less, art transcends language barriers, connects communities and expresses people's deepest emotions. Through art we can show our true human expression. If we understand this expression, we also gain more insight into ourselves and the world around us.


Visual art speaks, just like our subconscious and our intuition, the language of images. It brings us into contact with the healing power of our creativity. Our artistic expression is a means of communication to connect with ourselves and others.


Mission

With my knowledge and skills I like to teach you how to use art for self-expression, experiencing freedom and gaining more self-knowledge. By seeing the connection between you and your work, you can understand yourself and others on a deeper level. You will increasingly live according to your authentic self.
